Red Bull moved their Spanish headquarters from Cuatro Torres into a five floor building in the middle of Malasaña. The shift said something before any design decision was made. Out of a corporate tower, into Madrid's most creative neighborhood.
Working alongside yyplusplus, we built the identity and signage system for a building where only two of the five floors are traditional offices. The rest is built for creation, events, recording and everything in between. The signage followed the same logic as the space, industrial, functional, designed to guide people through somewhere that behaves more like a cultural venue than a headquarters. Raw enough to hold its own inside the architecture, still unmistakably Red Bull.
