Casa Axis is Felipe Pantone's house turned into a studio, artist residency, gallery and workshop, a project that brings together internationally renowned artists under one roof.
The starting point for the branding was the house itself. Walking through it, the same rounded module repeats again and again across the architecture, a detail most people would walk past. We took that module and built a custom typeface from it, Casa Axis, designed specifically for this project and set as the main axis the whole identity turns on. From there, the layout draws from something else the house holds: a private collection of 1970s product design, lamps and objects, the kind of pieces that used to live in design catalogues of that era. That structure became the visual backbone. Onto it, we layered textures pulled directly from Pantone's own work, including the color, the dynamism and the movement, so the identity carries both worlds at once instead of choosing one.
